The role
At South East Water, our Asset Integration team is responsible for collaborating with multiple divisions and stakeholders to provide engineering and operational advice on new or upgraded assets. The Asset Integration - Senior Engineer, is responsible for the commissioning and integrations of our new or upgraded assets in our network in this process.
In addition, but not limited to, you will:
- Ensure that the assets are built to AS/NZS standards.
- Lead assets commissioning and ensure it meets the requirements set out in the design and plans.
- Monitor the asset during commissioning phase.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
- Provide mentoring, support and technical guidance to the wider team, and provide training where required.
Who are you?
You will be an experienced engineer, with tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or similar. Solid experience in the water industry will be required to be successful in this position. A national engineering registration is essential, and CPEng is desirable. You will have deep knowledge of Quality Assurance principals in construction of water, sewerage and recycled water.
