The opportunity

Reporting to the HR Lead, the HR Business Partner will provide on-site support to front-line leaders in making good people decisions across the employee lifecycle.

In this role, you will partner with the site Leadership Team as well as Superintendents and Supervisors to challenge decisions that improve performance, provide support to the HR Lead, coach leaders to manage and take full accountability for people decisions effectively and consistently. You will provide guidance and advise on all aspects of human resources, including conducting investigations, managing performance management, and supporting development.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in industrial/ employee relations matters and processes and the ability to effectively challenge people, situations and perspectives. Working at the site with both employees and leaders daily, you will have strong communication and risk management skills to inform key decisions for the business.

This is a full-time fixed-term position until January 2024.

Location

This position will be at based at our Dendrobium Mine which is located at Mount Kembla, near the coastal city of Wollongong and approximately 75 kilometres south of Sydney.
