About the role
In the role of Mobile Maintenance Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible identifying and managing plant and equipment reliability risks in the maintenance department that could adversely affect plant or production operations through loss elimination, risk management and life cycle asset management
This role is being offered on a 7:7 DS Roster, FIFO Darwin or Cairns or Residential on Groote Eylandt on a full-time ongoing basis.
Some of your main responsibilities will include:
- Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis on equipment downtime and component failures
- Perform complex data analysis and modelling to drive data driven decisions.
- Lead and champion reliability principles and defect elimination processes to ensure maintenance strategies are continuously improved and equipment run-time is maximised
- Lead the initiation of management of change requests and mobile reliability improvement projects to improve equipment safety and reliability, or to seek solutions through modifications to the equipment design and blueprint
- Oversee regular and formal asset performance and downtime analysis for critical mining equipment. Identify, assess, and implement initiatives that will improve overall equipment reliability, availability, and performance.
About you
You will be self-motivated and enthusiastic; and have a passion and commitment to be part of a high-performing team. You will have the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment, with demonstrated experience in asset management, reliability, and maintenance engineering
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in a similar role within the mining or similar heavy industry
- Proficient in the use of data, data interrogation and interpretation of standards to guide decision making
- Demonstrated experience in vendor engagement
- Monitoring and analysis of actual asset performance and identification of opportunities for increased availability, reliability and asset utilisation.
- Able to interact and communicate with all levels of the operations functions
- Able to engage and communicate with all levels of the maintenance functions
- Proficiency in software such as SAP, MS Office; Power BI and OnePM will be highly regarded
- Knowledge of work management, change management, risk management and business process.
