ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, as Superintendent Capital Works, the purpose of this role is to safely lead and manage the execution phase of Sustaining Capital Projects across the Mine and Refinery as per agreed scope, schedule, and budget. This role will be offered on a Permanent basis.

This role will be based at our Worsley Alumina Refinery which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (35 minutes – bus available from Bunbury location only) and other nearby scenic communities.
As there is no accommodation on site, you will be required to drive in, drive out on a daily basis. Employees ideally live within an hour’s drive of Collie.
key responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Manage planning and safe execution (including commissioning) of approved projects according to agreed scope, budget, schedule and relevant standards and specifications
- Manage and develop the project schedule and timeline for the execution phase of assigned portfolio of works.
- Provides support to the Design Engineers & Project Specialist in the development and assurance of complex and technical project execution packages.
- Analyse, manage and mitigate risks to schedule, budget, quality, resourcing, procurement, constructability and health and safety throughout execution phase of the assigned portfolio of projects.
ABOUT YOU
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering or Trade Certificate
- Qualification in Project Management or demonstrated equivalent experience in a similar role
Qualifications for this position are:
- Significant experience in delivering complete life cycle projects within a brownfield environment in the range of $1M to $100M within the resources industry
- Experience in leading, coaching and mentoring projects and or execution teams to deliver projects or scopes.
