ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Supervisor Mine Services, as Operator Mine Services, the purpose of this role is to execute operations activities through operating equipment as directed by the production supervisor and in accordance with BBM standards and operating procedures. This role will be offered on a Permanent basis.

Boddington

This role is based at the Boddington Bauxite Mine located a short drive from the community of Boddington (10 minutes), Pinjarra (50 minutes) and the City of Mandurah (1 hour).

key responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Execute the production mining and/or development activities according to the production plan as directed by the Production Supervisor
• Work with physical assets, plant and equipment as defined by the operations standards and operating procedures
• Review and update plans, equipment history and communicate status to appropriate parties
• Adhere to defined standard procedures and apply safe work practices
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all incidents and hazards

ABOUT YOU

• Demonstated oral and written English language proficicency
• Meets defined behavioural and safety awareness expectations
• Operational: has worked as part of a team and contributed to projects
• Execute the production mining and/or development activities according to the production plan as directed by the Production Supervisor
• Work with physical assets, plant and equipment as defined by the operations standards and operating procedures

Qualifications for this position are:

• Technical: exposure in the production/mining area. Requires knoweldge of activties related to operating mining equipment
• Collaborated with individual internal stakeholders on individual contributor levels
