ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, as RVI Specialist, the purpose of this role is to Implement, build and grow the Remote Visual Inspection (RVI) service across Worsley Operations from the Remote Access team. This role will be offered on a Permanent basis.

This role will be based at our Worsley Alumina Refinery which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (35 minutes – bus available from Bunbury location only) and other nearby scenic communities.
As there is no accommodation on site, you will be required to drive in, drive out on a daily basis. Employees ideally live within an hour’s drive of Collie.
key responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Creates and maintains appetite for new technology.
- Educate and manage expectations of end users and their line management on both benefits and limitations of product.
- Manages and maintains RVI equipment.
- Share information generated through RVI tasks with end users and facilitate efficient and timely information flow.
- Documents improvement change and keeps business informed of the broader implications of any new product implementations.
ABOUT YOU
- Technical aptitude or process knowledge stemming from operational, trade or engineering background.
- Interest in, and involvement with, technology, innovation and IT.
- Strong desire to help improve people’s work through development and introduction of technology, coaching and mentoring.
- Creative trouble shooting.
- Passion for Photography.
- Pointcloud and 3D modelling experience.
- Experience in internal drone flying eg Elios 1,2and 3.
- Experience in external inspections eg M300
Qualifications for this position are:
- RePL MR 25
- 50+ Hrs documented hrs
- Adobe Creative Suite experience.
- Competent computer user for information sharing purposes, report writing, video editing and production.
- Shutdown maintenance experience will be advantageous.
