ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent position on a 42-hour per week dayshift / nightshift roster, at our Boddington Bauxite Mine reporting to the Coordinator Crisis & Emergency Management & Safety.
Please note that accommodation is not provided on site, you will be required to drive in, drive out to site on a daily basis. Employees ideally live within an hour’s drive of Boddington.
As the Emergency Services Officer, you will be responsible for delivering confident, timely and compassionate emergency response services that protect people, operations and the environment.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Coordinating and guiding Emergency Response Teams during critical situations.
- Maintaining readiness of emergency, fire and safety equipment across all sites.
- Monitoring fire systems, responding to alarms and managing isolations safely.
- Delivering engaging ERT training and keeping accurate training records.
