The Opportunity:
We are in search of a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of solar and energy-efficient projects across our SMCT sites. As the Project Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Environment Team to ensure projects align with SMCT's environmental assessments and recommendations, striving for excellence in all completed works.

Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage the implementation of new solar energy projects and building upgrades.
- Develop and execute project plans, encompassing scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies for on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Cultivate collaborative and respectful relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including trades people.
- Liaise with external stakeholders to secure necessary permits and approvals.
- Conduct thorough reviews of all work to ensure a consistently high quality standard.
What we're looking for in you:
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in project management or related discipline.
- Experience in building, construction or trade work.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale projects from initiation to completion.
- Solid financial acumen including budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
- Analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Must be a self-starter and function well independently and within teams.
