The Role:
We are seeking passionate and skilled Food & Beverage Attendants to join our Functions Team at our Springvale location. In this role, you will ensure smooth operations for all functions, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation during events and functions.
Other responsibilities include:
- Welcome and greet guests at functions and events, ensuring a warm and professional atmosphere.
- Serve food and beverages, ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are upheld at all times.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Set up and pack down function spaces, ensuring they are clean, presentable, and well-stocked.
- Assist with the seamless execution of functions, including memorials, and corporate events.
- Address guest queries and provide detailed information on menu items.
- Follow responsible service of alcohol (RSA) guidelines and check IDs when required.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the Team Leader.
- Assist with back-of-house duties, when required.
- Provide support to Café when required.

Group Interviews will be held at Springvale Botanical Cemetery on Monday 7th April at 10am. Successful candidates will receive an invitation via email.
Your Profile:
- Previous experience in hospitality, café, or function service is highly regarded.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Barista skills and experience in food and beverage preparation preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Food Handling certifications or proven knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Willingness to assist with both front-of-house and back-of-house duties as required.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
