Come and join our global trading team as a trading manager - due to substantial growth, we are looking to hire an individual to help develop the Trading Team to scale, optimize daily trading operations and contribute to a range of product, technology, and commercial projects.

WHAT WOULD I BE DOING?
- Managing FanDuel daily trading operations with a focus on continually improving expected margin, live profit efficiency and other KPIs
- Ensuring the team has clearly defined goals and objectives along with personal development plans
- Ownership of in-play margin and customer experience across 1-2 of the Big 6 Sports in the US.
- Hands on live trading and price management in busier periods
- Working alongside senior leaders on resource planning and forecasting
- Building out a team of traders from the ground up including hiring, onboarding, and coaching.
- Testing and rollout of new sports models and betting product
- Regular reporting and research
- Creating a culture where compliance is first in mind, ensuring our product is tailored to each individual state regulations.
The FanDuel team in Australia adopt a flexible 5 day working week policy based on customer needs to ensure a great work-life balance for our staff. There is a requirement for weekend work, but shifts will generally fall between 7am – 630pm. This role is a hybrid position that involves an office presence as well as the ability to work from home. At the start of your role, we require most days to be in the office for coordinated training.
ABOUT YOU
To put it simply, we are looking for a candidate who is passionate about US Sports, a natural leader and has a high aptitude for numbers and data. With the ever-evolving industry in the US, this person will play a crucial role in shaping the future direction of the FanDuel Trading Team. However, we require the successful candidate to have:
- Previous industry experience with an in-depth understanding of betting.
- Experience managing an operational team or people within an operational team
- Experience using proprietary sports trading models for both pre-match and live price management
