About the Role

As a Product Manager (12-month fixed term) you’ll help deliver customer-centric, innovative experiences with a focus on sports betting experiences, withing the Betting Experiences Product Team.You’ll work alongside engineering, design, analytics and marketing to validate opportunities, balance customer value with commercial outcomes, and bring products to market at pace. You’ll focus on sports betting experiences, within the Betting Experiences Product team.

You’ll support the Senior Product Manager and Value Stream Leads in shaping the product roadmap for your value stream and directly contributing to enterprise-level OKRs and use data and customer insights to continuously improve product performance. This role reports to a Head of Product (Betting Experiences) and operates flexibly from our Melbourne office. You’ll work within empowered squads in a value-stream model, partnering closely with commercial, trading, risk, design, and technology stakeholders.

We're looking for someone who loves solving problems, thrives in fast-paced environments, and brings curiosity, energy and a customer-first mindset to their work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help identify and prioritise the customer problems that matter most in Sports
  • Support early thinking on new features – assessing customer value, commercial impact and delivery effort
  • Work with product, engineering, design, analytics and commercial teams to take ideas from concept to launch
  • Write simple, clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and support delivery using Jira and Confluence
  • Partner with design and research to test ideas with customers through interviews, usability testing and experiments
  • Monitor how products perform and help improve them over time
  • Analyse customer behaviour, usage patterns and market trends to inform decisions
  • Track success metrics and help drive actions that improve customer and business outcomes

We would love you to have

  • 2–4 years in Product Management in digital tech environments
  • Experience working in agile teams across the full product lifecycle
  • Strength turning customer problems into product opportunities
  • Comfortable using data to simplify complexity and guide decisions
  • A mix of curiosity, adaptability, ownership and collaboration
  • Inclusive mindset – works well with diverse teams and perspectives
  • Relevant degree or practical experience
  • Interest in Sport or Racing is a bonus, not required
