About Us

As part of the Flutter Group, FanDuel is the premier gaming destination and market leader in the United States, with a Market Cap of over $35 billion USD and 20,000 employees globally.

We have offices in New York, Melbourne, California, Florida, New Jersey, Oregon, and Scotland, and we know that great ideas can come from anywhere, and anyone.

FanDuel Group is a subsidiary of Flutter Entertainment plc, the world's largest sports betting and gaming operator with a portfolio of globally recognized brands and traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: FLUT).

About The Role

As a Risk Executive, you will monitor and analyse betting activity across a wide range of sporting events, using sound judgement to balance effective risk mitigation with a positive customer experience.

You will add value through customer analysis, identifying patterns in behaviour, and building strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders. This role requires attention to detail, curiosity, and clear, empathetic communication, along with a passion for sport and the ability to prioritise and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for people who enjoy working as part of a team and are motivated by solving problems and working with data. If you have strong attention to detail, remain composed under pressure, and are comfortable with numbers, we can support you in developing the rest.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Monitor betting activity to support customer segmentation, identify potential issues, and manage risk exposure.
  • Develop customer insights by assessing value through both real-time and retrospective analysis.
  • Identify and respond to potential errors in real time, supporting timely resolution and risk mitigation.
  • Support liability management by responding to alerts with sound judgement and clear communication.
  • Monitor and report on daily performance, highlighting trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Review and assess bet requests that exceed standard limits, contributing to timely and informed decision-making.
  • Take ownership of specific sports or areas, including periodic reporting and identifying actionable insights.
  • Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with key partners across global teams.
  • Contribute to the investigation of issues and the continuous improvement of processes, supporting a reduction in errors and maintaining strong relationships with regulatory bodies.

About You

  • You have strong attention to detail and take a thoughtful, structured approach to your work.
  • You’re curious and enjoy exploring data to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
  • You communicate clearly and respectfully, building positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • You manage your time effectively and can prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • You remain composed when things are busy or time-sensitive, and approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset.
  • You enjoy working as part of a team and contribute to a supportive, collaborative environment.
  • You’re open to learning, receptive to feedback, and motivated to continuously develop your skills.
  • You have an interest in sport (professional or personal), or a willingness to learn about the sporting landscape.

We encourage applications from women, gender-diverse applicants, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, even if you don’t meet every requirement.

We value curiosity, calm thinking, and teamwork.

Technical Competencies:

  • Risk management and betting knowledge preferred
  • A willingness to learn & grow
  • High Computer literacy
  • Good numerical ability
  • A keen eye for detail

Education, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Industry experience preferred but not required

The Perks

We work hard and play hard, so along with a competitive salary and generous performance-based bonus for permanent staff members, here’s some of our other perks:

  • $650 home office allowance
  • 25 days paid leave (plus public holidays)
  • Daily breakfast + weekend lunch allowance
  • Team social budgets and regular events
  • Parental leave: 26 weeks paid (no wait), plus phased return-to-work
  • Access to a full Employee Assistance Program
  • Learning budget for conferences, courses, and certifications

We’re a flexible, progressive, open-minded, and inclusive employer who welcomes you for who you are, as you are - that’s why we assess behaviours, learning agility and expertise to ensure all types of experiences are considered for our roles.
