Your role will also involve cross-disciplinary collaboration with our transportation team, including engineering, design, and analytics.
Day to day tasks would involve:
Deliver transport planning and traffic engineering studies, including impact assessments and modelling.
Support and manage projects across land development, infrastructure and urban precincts.

Undertake transport policy research and interpretation, including contributing to policies, guidelines and standards.
Prepare high-quality technical reports, proposals and client deliverables.
Liaise with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary project teams.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to team growth.
To be successful for this role you'll need:
A relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years' experience in transport planning within a consulting environment.
Knowledge of traffic modelling and analysis tools such as SIDRA, VISSIM, VISUM or similar will be advantageous.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and synthesise qualitative and quantitative evidence.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects and build client relationships.
Membership of, or progress towards, a recognised professional body (such as AITPM, Engineers Australia or the Planning Institute of Australia) is viewed favourably.
We are flexible about the level of this appointment. While advertised as a Transport Planner, we are open to appointing at Senior Transport Planner level pending interview and technical assessment.
