About the Role:

Our growing team is on the lookout for an HR Advisor to support our Brisbane HR Operations. This busy generalist role will see you provide crucial people management support to our HR Business Partners and to our staff. There are a host of responsibilities which make the position both interesting and rewarding, including employee relations, on-boarding, remuneration, succession planning, employee wellbeing, and workforce development. You’ll also have the opportunity to support Human Resource strategies and undertake projects that keep Stantec’s workforce engaged and motivated.

As an effective relationship builder, you will have the ability and confidence to engage with managers and employees and to influence them to achieve business outcomes. Strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, a commercial awareness, energy and resourcefulness are qualities that are keenly sought. We need someone who can work autonomously, develop and maintain relationships while working collaboratively within a dynamic and collaborative HR team.

About you:

You will have a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or other relevant field with 2 - 5 years’ human resources experience, preferably within a professional services environment. As mentioned before, ideally you will have experience and the ability to work with remote teams within a matrix structure. Your ability to liaise with, influence and maintain positive relations with internal clients is essential plus the organisational skills to prioritise and manage your own workload based on business needs.
