Job Type: Full time
We know that what we do really matters which is why at Stantec, we design with community in mind.
About the Role:
Our growing team is on the lookout for an HR Advisor to support our Brisbane HR Operations. This busy generalist role will see you provide crucial people management support to our HR Business Partners and to our staff. There are a host of responsibilities which make the position both interesting and rewarding, including employee relations, on-boarding, remuneration, succession planning, employee wellbeing, and workforce development. You’ll also have the opportunity to support Human Resource strategies and undertake projects that keep Stantec’s workforce engaged and motivated.
As an effective relationship builder, you will have the ability and confidence to engage with managers and employees and to influence them to achieve business outcomes. Strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, a commercial awareness, energy and resourcefulness are qualities that are keenly sought. We need someone who can work autonomously, develop and maintain relationships while working collaboratively within a dynamic and collaborative HR team.
You will have a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or other relevant field with 2 - 5 years’ human resources experience, preferably within a professional services environment. As mentioned before, ideally you will have experience and the ability to work with remote teams within a matrix structure. Your ability to liaise with, influence and maintain positive relations with internal clients is essential plus the organisational skills to prioritise and manage your own workload based on business needs.
Stantec unites about 25,000 employees working in over 400 locations across six continents. Therefore, it is no wonder we have got community on our mind because we are a part of it. When we take on a water, transport, infrastructure or buildings project we see more than a resource. We see an opportunity to make lasting connections with the people and places where we live and work. So, when you join us, you become part of the team with a nearly 200-year history in providing solutions that begin at the intersection of community, creativity and client relationships.
