Description

We are seeking a Process Engineer for our thriving Water Business in Sydney to support project managers/group managers by providing technical expertise on various projects primarily in odour and air quality evaluation and control, across the Water sector in Australia. We have an exciting array of projects encompassing Major Projects and Delivery Program with Australia’s largest water utilities, as well as regional projects around NSW.

The Process Engineer is responsible for:

  • Perform process engineering design tasks, which may include engineering drawings, calculations, reports, design criteria, to support complex engineering projects such as water, wastewater, recycled water, resource recovery, biosolids, and odour treatment facilities.

  • Perform calculations to analyse, model and design process components using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software.

  • Contribute to the development of processes through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats.

  • Prepare process engineering documents by developing process specifications, plans and schedules.

  • Work and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary design team to ensure constructability of the process designs and compatibility with the design intent.

  • Assist in the preparation of engineering project documents, client presentations, client contact and communication pertaining to specific project deliverables.

  • Assist with site investigation as well as commissioning and construction support works as required by the projects.

  • Participate in value engineering and basic cost estimating to support engineering projects.

To be successful for this role you'll present:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with an emphasis in Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering.

  • Experience in both a consultancy environment and in the Water & Wastewater industry.

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients.

  • Highly developed consulting skills to liaise with clients and other stakeholders to achieve mutually successful project outcomes.
