We care about the communities we serve—because they're our communities too. We're designers, engineers, scientists, and project managers, innovating together at the intersection of community, creativity, and client relationships. Balancing these priorities results in projects that advance the quality of life in communities across the globe.
About the role:
With significant growth across our ANZ business, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning & Development (L&D) practitioner to join us, based in either Brisbane Melbourne or Sydney.
Reporting to the Asia Pacific Learning & Development Manager, you will work on a diverse portfolio of initiatives including:
Providing expert guidance to the business to determine learning solutions that meet identified learning needs
Using instructional/learning design, adult learning principles and best practice to convert existing material into a format suitable for effective online learning
Working with subject matter experts and stakeholders to design and develop a range of training and capability development solutions (online and face-to-face).
Facilitating online and face-to-face workshops, especially in the leadership space
Planning and delivering team building workshops across the region using psychological tools
Evaluate training effectiveness including analysing participant feedback and developing reports to outline the return on investment
Support global Learning & Development projects as required
You will have at least 6 years L&D experience with proven proficiency in designing workshops based on identified learning needs, developing e-learning materials with authoring software such as Articulate Storyline and running live online learning using Microsoft Teams or similar. You will also be a confident and engaging facilitator.
We need someone who can work autonomously but can foster relationships with our people across Australia and New Zealand. Partnering with the business is fundamental to this role.
Provision of high service levels to internal clients is essential, plus a professional and consultative approach throughout your work. Attention to detail is critical together with strong literacy skills.
Stantec is passionate about employing talented people who enjoy a challenge and is committed to providing a supportive environment for people to achieve their best.
