Description
We are currently seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Sunshine Coast office at Maroochydore.
This role will suit an engineer that has already graduated and is available for full time, permanent work. As a graduate, you will learn all facets of civil engineering techniques, gain skills in relevant software programs and join our established Stantec Graduate Development Program (https://www.stantec.com/content/dam/stantec/files/PDFAssets/australia-new-zealand/au-grad-program-brochure-2023.pdf) .
This position offers the opportunity for you to:
Expand on your university studies to complete design calculations and engineering assessments to assist with ongoing and new projects
Develop practical and commercial solutions to problems
Undertake work related training and self-development for career advancement
Participate in the delivery of projects and ensure work output is of a technically high standard
Undertake site inspections of works during the construction phase, after the required training and guidance has been provided by experienced engineers
Assist with the completion of technical reports
Collaborate with project staff and work within a team of technical specialists in their field
Coordinate, prepare and submit proposals
