About the role:

The depth and breadth of our civil engineering expertise across Australia has enabled us to develop new customised project solutions, irrespective of scope, size, complexity or location. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Drainage Engineer, with expertise in drainage design to support our Melbourne based transport team. This role will manage drainage related works (including stormwater management and flooding) for the planning and design of MRPV, NELA and SRLA Projects

Day to day tasks would involve:

  • Transport infrastructure drainage design - servicing road, rail and airport projects

  • Detailed analysis and review of hydrological and hydraulic model

  • Retention and Detention Basin design for water quality treatment of surface water and groundwater

  • Provide technical design expertise for drainage and stormwater quality systems, including piped networks and major transverse drainage structures Embrace and promote a leading digital work environment and delivery culture

  • Building strong relationships with clients

Qualifications

To be successful for this role you'll need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering with a demonstrated 7 to 10 years’ experience in the delivery of multi-disciplinary drainage design Projects

  • Advanced working knowledge of investigation and design of stormwater infrastructure, including experience working with the latest ARR standards.

  • Demonstrated experience using 12D as well as other relevant stormwater software (eg; Drains, MUSIC etc.)

  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and encourage collaboration

  • Commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development
