About the role
This role will see you be part of our growing transport delivery business that delivers infrastructure designs across State Government, municipal, and private sector with focus on MRPV, NELA and SRLA Projects.
Day to day tasks would involve:
Complete drawings / designed using relevant standards (PTV, VicRoads, Council standards)
Complete drafting documentation in accordance with compliant procedures
Work from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers
Operate CAD, MicroStation and other drafting/design computer programs
Contribute/Develop Project Specific drafting guidelines
Undertaking regular drafting checks as per Stantec’s Quality Assurance process and protocols
Develop practical and commercial solutions to problems and take necessary action to expedite the successful accomplishment of assigned projects
Deliver project outcomes within client specifications and expectations
Ensure drawings comply with design/drafting checklists and are peer reviewed
Qualifications
To be successful for the role you’ll need:
Experience in the operation of software design tools such as AutoCAD packages and/or MicroStation
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
Ability to solve problems utilising existing procedures
Strong client focus, high level of motivation and dedication and the ability work well in a team environment.
Commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development
