About the role:
The depth and breadth of our civil engineering expertise across Australia has enabled us to develop new customised project solutions, irrespective of scope, size, complexity or location and this integral position within our Melbourne based transport team will assist us manage drainage related works for the planning and design of complex, major transport infrastructure projects. Working collaboratively, you will lead the project and resources to deliver drainage related packages of work and develop innovative and cost-effective solutions.
Day to day tasks would involve:
Oversee and manage the drainage related scope of works (including stormwater management and flooding) for a portfolio of transport infrastructure projects
Ensure work output is of a technically high standard and activities are commercially viable for the business
Plan resource needs in consultation with project managers and ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget
Provide specialist technical input, advice and review of Transport infrastructure drainage design - servicing road, rail and airport projects
Supervision and mentoring of engineers
Providing specialist advice to team members and clients
Building strong relationships with client
Qualifications
To be successful for this role you'll need:
Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering with a demonstrated 10 to 12 years’ experience in the delivery of MRPV or multi-disciplinary drainage design
Advanced working knowledge of investigation and design of stormwater infrastructure, including experience working with the latest ARR standards.
Demonstrated experience using 12D as well as other relevant stormwater software (eg; Drains, MUSIC etc.)
Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and encourage collaboration
