We have an opportunity for a Civil Drafter to join our Civil Infrastructure team in our Townsville office, you will be part of a team that values people with regular training and social events. Our projects are located throughout the region and range from master planned communities and high-density developments through to major infrastructure projects.
Specifically, your responsibilities will include -
Participate in the delivery of projects and ensure output is of a high standard and within time and cost budget allocations
Civil engineering design for land subdivision, road and drainage projects using AutoCAD
Preparation of conceptual and detailed design drawings in accordance with statutory requirements and standards
Managing deliverables of a project including quality control and the coordination of drafting staff
Providing input to the continuous improvement of our design and drafting standards
Ensuring client expectations are met and exceeded
About you
To be successful you will display –
Demonstrated drafting experience, ideally within a consulting environment
Demonstrated experience using design software including AutoCAD
12D design experience highly regarded
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements
A commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development
