Due to expansion, our community development team is seeking to appoint a Civil Engineer for our Rockhampton office. You will join existing experienced team of engineers and designers who are passionate about making a difference to the local area and being part of the exciting growth of this region.
You will have the opportunity to work on variety of projects, play a key role in delivering our projects from master planned communities and high-density developments through to infrastructure projects for Council and government. We hold a strong industry reputation off the back of successfully delivered projects.
The Role
Provision of high-quality technical design and consulting services in relation to civil and urban infrastructure projects
Preparation of designs, reports, and specifications for infrastructure projects in accordance with relevant design standards
Working with management to further develop our infrastructure capability in this region (with a particular focus on local council clients) through involvement in bids/tenders and actively engaging in business development activities
Ensuring there is a strong and embedded safety commitment to Zero Harm
About you
Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
Demonstrated experience within a civil infrastructure environment
Demonstrated experience and relationships within local councils in the region
Strong client relationship and business development skills
Excellent technical report writing skills
Outstanding communication skills to liaise with the team, senior management and external partners to produce commercial, client focused outcomes
