About The Role:
2023 is promising to be an excellent year for Stantec and with ongoing work and more project wins, we have an opportunity for a Senior Water Network Planner with at least 8 years’ experience to join our Water Supply Network Planning team. Based in our Wellington office reporting to the Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include the delivery of projects including the following:
Engage with Clients to understand their needs and scope projects.
Develop and use water supply network models to understand existing issues and develop operational or planning solutions to achieve targets around pressure, resilience or efficiency.
Drive projects under limited supervision, with the support of junior staff.
Prepare reports and present findings.
Create and nurture relationships with clients and across the organisation.

About you
You have at least 8 years’ experience in water networks planning /modelling. Experience in using Infoworks WS Pro would be beneficial.
You have a bachelors’ degree or diploma in civil, environmental engineering, science or geography.
You are motivated to be in charge of projects as part of a dynamic team. You are open to new ideas and have enthusiasm for innovative thinking.
