About the role:

Sitting in our Asia Pacific HR team, our Early Careers Lead has responsibility for the strategy and delivery of our graduate and undergraduate intake along with other early career initiatives. Partnering with the business leaders, you’ll help us evolve our process, grow our brand and enhance the employee experience, creating a pipeline of future leaders at Stantec.

Key snapshot below:

  • Managing direct reports to ensure we meet our agreed targets.

  • Manage the Graduate/Undergraduate recruitment drives end to end.

  • Liaise with key stakeholders across Australia to determine graduate/undergraduate requirements.

  • Plan and coordinate relevant attraction strategies including advertising, university careers fairs, networking events etc.

  • Manage high volume recruitment campaigns (both in person and virtually), organising key internal stakeholders to present at campus and industry events.

  • Project manage the graduate selection process through various assessment methods.

  • Ensure Graduate Position Descriptions and Adverts are up to date and relevant for all roles and stored appropriately.

  • Champion and promote equity, inclusion, and diversity initiatives across undergraduate and graduate recruitment initiatives.

  • Develop and manage communication and engagement activities with graduates to ensure there is a strong connection with them between the date of hire and the date of commencement.

About you:

With at least 10 years’ experience in a similar role, you will have experience delivering high impact early career strategies, ideally within a professional services environment. You’ll be comfortable presenting to senior leadership teams on campaign direction, along with updates on market and industry direction. We want someone who is passionate about delivering great employee experience. This role will have you managing in a decentralised model, so the ability to delegate and empower is critical.
