Communities are fundamental. Whether around the corner or across the globe, they provide a foundation, a sense of place and of belonging. That's why at Stantec, we always design with community in mind.

We care about the communities we serve—because they're our communities too. We're designers, engineers, scientists, and project managers, innovating together at the intersection of community, creativity, and client relationships. Balancing these priorities results in projects that advance the quality of life in communities across the globe.

About the role:

We are looking for a L&D Business Partner based in either Melbourne or Brisbane to provide 12-month parental leave cover to support the delivery of our two-year Graduate Program and other L&D initiatives.

Reporting to the Asia Pacific Learning & Development Manager, your key responsibilities include:

  • Support the day-to-day running of the Graduate Program, including program presentations, organising, and overseeing workshops, consulting with stakeholders, and SharePoint maintenance.

  • Managing relationships with our facilitator pool and working to broaden our pool of speakers where needed.

  • Manage relationships with Professional Associations.

  • Drive the pathway to Chartership program – helping our engineers to become chartered.

  • Managing our mentoring program including looking after our mentoring database, mentoring resources, and delivering sessions for mentors and mentees.

  • Working with the L&D coordinator to arrange external training requests and any learning data request from the business.

  • Provide support to our under graduates and continue to develop their formal offering.

You will have at least 7 years L&D experience with proven proficiency in delivering programs and managing events. You will also be a confident facilitator and someone who is passionate about developing future leaders.

We need someone who can work autonomously but can foster relationships with our people across Australia and New Zealand. Partnering with the business is fundamental to this role.

Provision of high service levels to internal clients is essential, plus a professional and consultative approach throughout your work. Attention to detail is critical together with strong literacy skills.

Stantec is passionate about employing talented people who enjoy a challenge and is committed to providing a supportive environment for people to achieve their best.
