On the back of these exciting projects, presents a terrific opportunity for a driven BIM Manager to join our Water group, flexibly based from one of Stantecs Australian Offices or your home office, to contribute to our major water infrastructure projects.

About the role:
This role is responsible for the Digital management and coordination of engineering projects such as dams, pipelines, pump stations and various water and sewage systems including treatment plants. We have a significant pipeline of projects and have secured highly sought after, exciting and challenging projects. You will work with the larger team of knowledgeable, supportive and passionate professionals and carry out tasks including:
Management and coordination of project Digital Deliverables and BIM processes.
Federate and coordinate multidiscipline projects in the design, review and delivery of digital deliverables.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers and other project, company and client staff.
Engage in the development of design through sketches, digital models, diagrams, and other visual formats, and prepare and revise documentation outputs in various phases.
Manage deliverable quality in line with internal processes.
Assist with developing and managing project scope including cost estimates, budget, staffing and schedule.
Provide a central role in stakeholder liaising through federated model reviews
Coordinate technical activities and designs with personnel in other disciplines and departments serve as a liaison between senior staff and design team.
Support, mentor and upskill team members.
To be successful for this role you'll need:
Minimum 5 years experience in BIM orientated projects
Excellent communication skills
Functional understanding of ISO19650
Ability to lead muti-disciplinary projects and coordination across the project team.
Have a solutions-based approach to projects along with an aptitude to resourcefulness and quality.
Ability to work largely autonomously under direction of the Project Manager.
Competent in BIM collaboration software such as Navisworks and/or Revizto and similar.
Great troubleshooting, problem solving skills.
Common Data Environment experience – BIM360 / ACC, Projectwise
Experience in documenting Digital Execution Plans.
Experience in Revit, Civil 3D and/or Plant 3D advantageous.
Experience in water infrastructure design/drafting/modelling an advantage.
Proactive approach to situations.
