About the role

Our Transport team based in Brisbane is looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of major transport infrastructure projects across Queensland. You will be working closely with TMR and other key stakeholders, managing projects from early planning through to delivery. This role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of transport projects and the opportunity to play a key role in shaping safe, resilient and sustainable infrastructure for our communities.

Current projects include:

  • Interchange upgrades

  • Road network upgrades

  • DRFA (Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements) projects

  • Railway stations

  • Bruce Highway safety upgrades

  • Level crossing removal projects

You will be involved across multiple project phases, including:

  • Options Analysis

  • Business Case development

  • Preliminary Design

  • Detailed Design

  • IFC (Issued for Construction)

  • Construction Support

Day to day tasks would involve:

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of transport infrastructure projects

  • Build strong relationships with local authorities, contractors and internal stakeholders

  • Lead project planning, resourcing, financial management, risk and quality outcomes

  • Monitor scope, program and budgets to ensure successful project delivery

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across design and construction phases

  • Support proposal development and contribute to future work opportunities

  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with best‑practice PM frameworks

To be successful for this role you'll need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management or similar

  • Proven experience delivering transport infrastructure projects

  • Strong experience working on TMR projects

  • Background in consulting or professional services environments

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Confident managing multiple projects and competing priorities
