About the role

We’re looking for a full time ICT Service and Support Officer to join our Service Desk team supporting Stanwell Power Station (SPS) and other Queensland sites.

This role goes beyond traditional service desk support. You’ll take end-to-end ownership of incidents and service requests, from initial contact through to resolution, including coordination across ICT teams and vendors.

You’ll perform technical triage, troubleshooting and resolution across a broad range of technologies, while managing competing priorities in a high-volume environment.

Working closely with broader ICT teams, you’ll ensure issues are progressed effectively, provide clear communication to stakeholders, and help minimise business impact through timely and well-coordinated outcomes.

Key activities include:

  • Log, triage and own incidents and service requests through to resolution
  • Provide on-site and remote support for hardware, software and network issues
  • Perform technical diagnosis and troubleshooting across devices, systems and connectivity
  • Coordinate and follow up on escalated issues with ICT teams and vendors
  • Prioritise and manage workload in line with business impact and service levels
  • Support device builds, deployments and lifecycle management
  • Maintain knowledge articles and identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities
  • Assist with onboarding, meeting room technology and minor ICT projects

About you

  • Experience in ICT support, service desk or similar role
  • Strong troubleshooting capability across Microsoft 365, Active Directory and networks
  • Experience supporting a range of technologies in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
  • Strong sense of ownership with the ability to follow through to outcomes
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to engage across teams and vendors

Benefits

  • Recognised as an Endorsed Employer for all Women by WORK180
  • Weekly pay + 12.75% super + annual incentive
  • Full income protection cover
  • Salary packaging options
  • Flexible work arrangements
  • Buses provided from Gracemere and Rockhampton
  • On-site canteen services
  • Relocation packages available for certain roles
  • Access to learning and development (including LinkedIn learning)
  • Purchased and volunteer leave options
  • Health and wellbeing initiatives (e.g. EAP, Fitness Passport, skin checks, flu vaccines)
  • Access to Bright Spark – our rewards, recognition and discounts platform
  • Exceptional safety culture
  • Plus, a whole lot more!
