About the role
This is a full time opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the Site Services Team at our Tarong Power Station operations, located in the South Burnett.
The primary responsibilities of a Site Services Officer are to ensure business outcomes are met through effective contractor management and timely works execution. Building strong working relationships with internal maintenance and engineering teams as well as contracted service providers is key to the success of this position.
Key activities include, but not limited to:
- Effective contract management to ensure that services are delivered in adherence with contract conditions, Stanwell policies and procedures.
- Scaffolding governance onsite to ensure compliance with Legislative requirements and business processes.
- Optimize Mobile plant usage by coordinating and scheduling plant to maximise productive time, and ensure servicing is completed with minimal impact to operations.
- Coordination of contracted services to execute fixed crane maintenance and repairs.
- Management of Scaffolding, Lifting, and Rigging gear including ensuring inspection and tagging is completed, laydown areas are maintained, and equipment is kept at the correct levels to meet business needs.
- Effective works management to ensure Maintenance Scheduled Tasks (MST’s) and corrective works are planned and executed in
About you
- Demonstrated experience in scaffolding and crane operations with a thorough understanding of relevant regulations and legislations.
- Rigger/Doggers/Scaffolder/HRWL tickets are advantageous.
- A high-level understanding of Works Management Systems (e.g. Ellipse or SAP etc) is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and execute maintenance schedules.
- Demonstrated contract/contractor management or project execution.
- Experience working in a heavy industrial environment.
- Good written and verbal communication with high levels of attention to detail.
