About the role

This is a permanent and full-time site-based roster opportunity based in Clarke Creek.

As a Lead Service Technician, you will play a pivotal role in executing both preventative and breakdown maintenance activities across various sites and renewable industry technologies. You will ensure that all activities are completed in an efficient manner and comply with Statutory or Health Safety and Environmental requirements.

Key activities include:

  • Under the direction of the Site Lead, assist in guiding and supporting team members, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with safety and quality standards as well as acting as Site Lead in their absence.
  • Support the development of site-based maintenance procedures and schedules and ensure they are attentively followed.
  • Support with the administration and documentation for site including preparation, tracking, closing and recording of maintenance work orders.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are used correctly and maintained in safe working order.
  • Utilise CMMS and Microsoft Suite of products, to support daily operations and data management.

About you

  • Current Queensland Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Licence.
  • Current “C” or “MR” or “HR” Driver’s Licence.
  • White Card – Construction Induction (CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry).
  • Desirable: Cert 3 Instrumentation and Control, or relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring and guiding team members.
  • Significant experience in heavy industry maintenance techniques.
  • Proven experience in:
    • HV switching operator/develop switching instruction.
    • Operation & maintenance of HV switchgear.
    • Advanced fault finding with HV & LV electrical plant.
    • Industrial instrumentation and control.
  • Experience in various renewable energy technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of asset management principles.
