This opportunity is with Miramar Underwriting Agency, a general insurance underwriting agency that provides business insurance solutions tailored to the client needs of general insurance brokers. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Steadfast Group Pty Ltd, we act on behalf of a number of insurance companies in Australia and internationally. Our aim is to provide innovative solutions for property, liability and engineering risks to protect businesses against financial loss.

About the opportunity:

This is a newly created Executive Assistant & Office Manager role offering the opportunity to work closely with the CEO of a growing underwriting agency. Sitting at the centre of the business, you will provide high-level executive support while also taking ownership of day-to-day office operations. This role suits someone who is proactive, highly organised, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level support to the CEO, including calendar, travel, and meeting coordination
  • Act as a gatekeeper, managing priorities, correspondence, and confidential matters
  • Prepare reports, presentations, agendas, and track follow-up actions from meetings
  • Oversee daily office operations, including facilities, vendors, and workplace management
  • Support onboarding/offboarding and coordinate internal events and team engagement activities

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years’ experience in an Executive Assistant, Office Manager, or similar hybrid role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working in small to mid-sized businesses
