We have a focus on equity of opportunity, representation and leadership pathways aligned to Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) targets. We actively promote and participate in  key insurance industry diversity initiatives including: 

Titled BINBE BUTA, which translates to Better Together, our reconciliation artwork visually interprets Steadfast’s eight core values:, Team, Ownership, Goals, Entrepreneurial, Trust, Humility, Ethical and Relationship.  

The artist, Jye is a proud Dunghutti and Gungulu man whose work is grounded in culture, community and connection.  

Now in its fifteenth year, we created the Steadfast Foundation to facilitate grants and charitable contributions that support charities helping people to overcome adversity. Since its inception, the Steadfast Foundation has donated more than $9.4 million to registered charities. 

The Steadfast Foundation proudly directs its donations toward causes that matter deeply to our people – our employees, the Steadfast broker network, our underwriting agencies, and the communities in which we live and work. 

The initiatives we fund are diverse but united by a common purpose: improving lives. They include advancing medical research with the potential to benefit all Australians, helping people with terminal cancer fulfil a cherished dream, and providing vital assistance to farmers facing hardship due to droughts and natural disasters. 

Our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) philosophy outlines our commitments to managing ESG risks. We think about the long-term success of our business from the perspectives of our shareholders, our people, customer advocacy, the environment and contributing to our communities.
