Salary: $150,000 – $180,000 per year

This position is responsible for the delivery of actuarial investigations, portfolio management and financial performance reviews of primarily UAA and Steadfast Agencies (Miramar, Dawes, Mansion, Argis, IUA and Pro-cover).
In this role, you will:
- Assist in developing the data reporting framework for actuarial analysis.
- Building analytical tools for management and provide the necessary support for on-going portfolio management and regular review.
- Provide specialised pricing support to the business in meeting their key performance indicators including collecting and validating data, building/reviewing actuarial models and/or working with external actuarial consultant and communicate clearly and concisely to business owners on key results.
- Implementing ARPC cyclone pool across various agencies and on-going support.
- Support projects that involve data, data capturing process, data analytics and business reporting.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of actuarial models.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will:
- 6+ years of actuarial experience in general insurance.
- High level of data literacy and problem-solving skills.
- Technical proficiency with relevant software especially MS office, Tableau or SQL with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with internal stakeholders.
- A high degree of organizational skills and the ability to adapt.
- Bachelor’s degrees in actuarial science or related field.
