The Role:
As an Information Manager at Sunwater, you will work across the organisation and be responsible for the implementation and leadership of Sunwater’s information management strategy and records management framework. You will also ensure all Sunwater information practices are in compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Developing and leading the implementation of the new Information Management Strategy
- Providing strong leadership to the information management team
- Providing thought leadership to develop and implement a Sunwater Information Strategy, comprising governance, framework, policies, standards, procedures and guidelines
- Reviewing and maintaining the existing Sunwater documents and record management framework
- Developing and implementing a knowledge management framework, comprising framework, roles and responsibilities, policies, standards, procedures and guidelines
- Actively participating in building and driving the integration and consolidation of applications, workflows and processes across the organisation
- Implementing processes and activities to monitor compliance to information management policies
- Initiating and overseeing projects that develop information management tools and processes
- Ensuring the systematic and quality management of corporate information and collaboration platforms.
- Implementing an education program, and provide expert knowledge, skills and advice regarding the structures, functionality and use of information management applications
You will bring:
- 10+ years of Information Management experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or Information and Data Science or significant relevant experience
- Post-graduate (any discipline)
- Expert knowledge across a broad range of information management systems, including documents and records, and asset information systems
- Sound working knowledge of document control processes
- Practical experience in project management methodologies such as PMBoK and PRINCE2
- Significant experience and success in leading the design and implementation of innovative Content Management capability and services
- Strong knowledge of contemporary, fit-for-purpose and future-proofed information systems and solution design
- Ability to influence and drive innovation across an organisation
- Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse team in accordance with relevant legislation and policy, contemporary human resource management principles and practices.
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Relationship management skills including the ability to consult, network, liaise and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders
