About you:

Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, this role will see you maintaining and repairing Sunwater’s electrical assets as well as assisting with the operational requirements of the scheme. You will participate in the delivery of the non-routine electrical works programme, manage electrical contractors and complete any other task or activity as required.

You will bring:

You will have strong analytical and technical skills to analyse situations and provide appropriate solutions in a heavy industrial environment. Your previous experience with Instrumentation, PLC systems, SCADA, solar and communication systems will be highly advantageous. Your ability to think innovatively and adaptively to resolve complex issues, ensure the management of project risks and achieve project objectives will ensure your success in this role. In addition, you will have:-

  • Queensland electrical work licence (dual trade qualifications would be highly regarded)
  • High voltage switching qualifications or the ability to obtain
  • Class C drivers licence for a manual vehicle
  • Confined space certificate or ability to obtain
  • Working at heights and elevating work platforms or the ability to obtain
