About the Role
As an Applications Specialist, you will ensure organisational needs are considered in the implementation and support of new and existing applications. In addition to supporting and analysing existing applications, you may also be involved in the design, development, and implementation of application upgrades and new tools.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Delivering subject matter expertise to various stakeholders relating to management of the Sunwater expense management application, property management application, and procurement and contracts application
- Analysing application support cases to understand and assess problems, providing fit for purpose solutions.
- Influencing and leading developers and vendor partners in reacting to customer feedback for application enhancement opportunities.
- Partnering with business units across Sunwater to gather and document functional requirements.
- Managing vendor performance to support Sunwater operations.
- Reviewing and improving processes and procedures related to key enterprise applications.
- Coordinating change management for applications in line with Sunwater policies and procedures.
- Monitoring and enforcing Sunwater security and application governance procedures
About you:
Key requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or Business Management or equivalent experience
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Experience supporting SAP and/or Salesforce applications
- Experience with Office 365 Applications
- Experience with vendor management
- Experience with stakeholder relationship management
- Knowledge of principles and concepts behind application analysis, business process analysis, basic project planning and resourcing estimation
- Strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills, with a working knowledge of both web development and system administration
