Please note, this is a Brisbane-based role with a hybrid working model. You’ll spend two days each week in our beautiful Milton office, with the flexibility to choose between working from home or the office for the remaining three days, depending on your preference.
Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:
Verifying, processing and coding local and overseas vendor invoices in Netsuite in a timely and accurate manner Resolving or escalating any discrepancies or issues ahead of payment due date Processing weekly payment runs Updating and maintaining the vendor database in a timely manner Managing the reconciliations of our company cards (Weel)and ensuring correct allocation to the general ledger Managing staff expense claims through Netsuite Regularly reconcile bank accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness Assist with month end close, including but not limited to, expense accruals, prepayments, general ledger reconciliation and statement reconciliation Prepare and issue invoices for services rendered and ensuring payments are received promptly Provide support during internal and external audits Identifying and making recommendations for improvement in current finance processes to increase efficiency
To be successful you will have:
Demonstrated experience in a finance role in a fast-paced, commercial environment Experience with Netsuite is highly desired, but not essential A passion for delivering a high level of service to all stakeholders, with a customer-focused, can-do attitude Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to suit varying audiences High-level problem-solving skills, demonstrating adeptness in identifying issues, thinking creatively and recommending solutions A detailed-orientated approach, showing great care and attention within all aspects of work
