We're leading Western Australians to their intelligent energy future.

And we want you to be part of it.

You might know us as Western Australia's largest electricity generator and energy retailer, supporting 1.2 million customers across the state.

But what you might not know, is that we’re investing in renewable energy projects, including wind farms and big batteries, to help build a more sustainable and reliable future.

Our Big Battery is now live in Kwinana, we’re expanding the Warradarge Wind Farm, the WA EV Network has launched, and we have many other projects in the works.

We're a purpose-driven organisation, owned by the people of WA. Our commitment is to ensure all Western Australians have access to secure, reliable, and sustainable energy.

We believe that the benefits of renewable energy aren’t just for some, they're for everyone.

This is where you come in.

Role Description:

The Senior System Analyst is a newly created opportunity in our Technology and Business Services Unit based at our Central Park Offices in Perth.

This role is part of the Generation Business Applications team within IT Core Systems, bridging business and technology. The role provides senior‑level analysis and coordination across project delivery and BAU activities, including requirements definition, solution design support, compliance, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and application support.

Working in close collaboration with key teams and stakeholders, the Senior Systems Analyst ensures solutions meet business requirements, apply and contribute to enterprise standards, and support the ongoing reliability and evolution of the application portfolio.

Job responsibilities:

  • Provide senior‑level systems analysis and coordination across project delivery and BAU activities within the Generation application portfolio.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to identify, analyse, and validate requirements, ensuring solutions address business needs and align with best practice.
  • Work closely with technology teams (developers, testers, architects) to translate business requirements into clear functional and technical outcomes.
  • Provide application support oversight, working with internal teams and vendors to coordinate issue resolution and support responses to priority incidents where required.
  • Support projects and transition to business as usual, including planning, knowledge transfer, and stakeholder communication.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing system reliability, supportability, and ways of working.

What you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Extensive, demonstrated experience working as a Systems Analyst or Business Analyst in a technology environment, supporting complex project delivery and BAU operations.
  • Proven experience delivering technology solutions across the lifecycle, including requirements definition, solution design support, configuration, testing, go‑live and transition to BAU support.
  • Experience in coordinating complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, delivery teams and dependencies.
  • Strong ability to influence and work with technical delivery teams to achieve outcomes within a dynamic environment.
