The opportunity:
As a Construction Project Manager at Systra Bamser, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. You will be required to work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role is based at our Melbourne location, and we also welcome a hybrid flexible working model.
- Develop and manage project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Identify potential project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure that projects are delivered with minimal disruption.
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of the construction project, including subcontractors, vendors, and internal resources.
- Ensure that all work performed meets the required quality standards and specifications.
- Communicate project progress, issues, and solutions to stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards on the construction site.
- Manage the project closeout process, including the preparation of final documentation, project evaluation, and post-project review.

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in construction project management.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with project management software tools and technologies.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and standards
