The Opportunity

What makes this role particularly attractive is the combination of project scale, client exposure, and career progression. You will be involved in significant infrastructure work coming to market, gain further experience in the major D&C environment, and strengthen your profile in one of the most exciting sectors in engineering.


The role

In this role, you will support the design and delivery of major roads and highways projects, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality transport infrastructure outcomes.

  • Deliver end-to-end concept and detailed designs for geometric road alignments, intersections, and civil infrastructure.
  • Utilise industry-standard software (such as 12D and CAD) to review engineering models and documentation.
  • Apply Austroads and TMR standards to ensure full project compliance.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs, prepare engineering reports, and assist with technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with drafters, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • (Optional/Bonus) Contribute to minor stormwater and drainage design elements where required.


What We're Looking For

  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 4 to 8 years of post-graduate experience specifically within Australian civil infrastructure, with a strong focus on roads and highways.
  • Proven experience working with TMR specifications and Austroads guidelines or similar is highly regarded. Local experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with 12D is desirable, alongside familiarity with TMR-specific design software.
