About the role:
Working with the Director, Program Service Delivery - Federal, this role is responsible for delivering services and solutions in SYSTRA ANZ's Security and Technology Solutions (STS) line of business. They are responsible for fostering the delivery of professional, high-quality and innovative business support and administration services to SYSTRA ANZ's STS team members.
The role is based at our Canberra location, but can also be based at Melbourne and Brisbane locations. We also welcome a hybrid flexible working model.
A Defence Security Clearance to at least NV1 is needed for this role.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage, deliver, and monitor projects
- Ensuring project deliverables and milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with staff in the immediate work area and with internal and external stakeholders to contribute to project design, governance arrangements, and operational integration.
- Provide expert advice and feedback to stakeholders and the agency's executive,
- Prepare and review high-quality written materials, including business cases, plans, reports, executive briefs, and corporate documentation.
- Undertake budget management, monitor expenditure, and oversee procurement and contract management.
- Identify, assess, manage, escalate, report, and monitor project risks, issues, and benefits, including developing treatment strategies.
- Analyse project performance and coordinate quality management to ensure project deliverables are fit for purpose and meet client needs.
- Support innovation, manage and lead change, and significantly contribute to business improvement strategies.
- Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships and expectations to deliver projects.
- Represent the work area or agency at external and cross-agency forums, including conferences and meetings.

- Proven ICT project management experience within Federal Government environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Services Australia would be ideal
