The Opportunity:
As a Systems Integration Engineer at SYSTRA ANZ, you will be at the forefront of delivering systems engineering expertise to rail projects across Brisbane and the broader ANZ region. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in systems engineering, integration, and a passion for contributing to transformative rail infrastructure.
This role is located in Brisbane CBD with hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise across the entire systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements management, system design, integration, verification, and validation.
- Develop and manage technical requirements using tools such as DOORS or similar, ensuring traceability and compliance with project needs.
- Facilitate the seamless integration of subsystems within complex rail infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with client and stakeholder requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, providing technical advice and ensuring systems engineering best practices are followed.
- Work closely with clients, partners, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met, addressing challenges with innovative solutions.
- Identify, analyse, and mitigate risks associated with system interfaces and integration.
- Prepare high-quality technical documentation, including specifications, design reports, and integration plans, to support project deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in systems engineering and integration within the rail or transport industry.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO/IEC 15288, EN 50126/50128/50129.
- Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Jama) and systems modeling (e.g., SysML).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex technical challenges.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments.
