We own, operate and maintain the electricity transmission and distribution network in Tasmania. We deliver a safe, cost-effective and reliable electricity supply to more than 295,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers. We facilitate the transfer of electricity between Victoria and Tasmania via Basslink, the sub-sea electricity interconnector. We also provide telecommunications and technology services.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to join our Materials Management team in Rocherlea.
As a Warehouse Coordinator in our busy Rocherlea depot, you’ll be part of a proud team whose objectives are to manage accurate inventory, maintain a safe, clean and well organized warehouse and yard and provide a high level of service to our crews and contractors.
In a safe and compliant manner, you’ll be ensuring the crews have all the materials they need for their workday, then your day will shift to accurately issuing and receipting materials, stocktaking and general upkeep of the warehouse and yard, whilst responding to internal and external requests. You’ll also be providing support to our Scottsdale depot and visit 1-2 times a month to manage materials and conduct stocktakes.
Strong communication skills are required to ensure mutual understanding of processes, priorities and obligations that foster a friendly and cooperative culture both within the warehouse team and across the organisation.
About you
To be successful in this role you will hold a high-risk forklift licence and have completed a minimum of year 11. Ideally you will have a warehousing background, coupled with transport, logistics and supply chain knowledge as well as customer service experience.
You will be a self-motivator with strong organisational and problem-solving skills, possess commitment to safety when completing tasks and be focussed on continuous improvement. You will be required to pass a medical examination for this role.
You will be experienced with computer managed inventory systems (SAP would be beneficial) and can adapt and learn new systems. You consistently display high ethical standards, professional integrity, and a strong work ethic.
