We own, operate and maintain the electricity transmission and distribution network in Tasmania. We deliver a safe, cost-effective and reliable electricity supply to more than 295,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers. We facilitate the transfer of electricity between Victoria and Tasmania via Basslink, the sub-sea electricity interconnector. We also provide telecommunications and technology services.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team!
This role is responsible for influencing strategic outcomes and supporting business performance through provision of insightful analysis and advice.
You will play a pivotal role utilising your critical thinking and problem solving skills to assess future investment risks and opportunities helping support Tasmanian customers and the community.

About you
As an experienced Financial Analyst you will have:
An ability to navigate complex issues with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve strategic outcomes.
Well-developed analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to communicate technical financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
Significant experience in financial modelling and analysis utilising MS Excel to build and deliver complex financial models.
Well-developed interpersonal skills and be able to work collaboratively with others and are a team player.
A qualification in business, commerce, accounting or equivalent, or other related professional experience is a requirement for this position.
An understanding of economic regulation and the financial/commercial operating environment of a regulated monopoly is also desirable.
