We own, operate and maintain the electricity transmission and distribution network in Tasmania. We deliver a safe, cost-effective and reliable electricity supply to more than 295,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers. We facilitate the transfer of electricity between Victoria and Tasmania via Basslink, the sub-sea electricity interconnector. We also provide telecommunications and technology services.

About the role

The Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Leader Training is responsible for the design, development & delivery of the RTO Training Services Strategy & Framework.

These plans need to include the continued evolving workforce needs of the energy sector, including transmission, distribution and renewables for TasNetworks to serve the Tasmanian community.

You will be leading a high performing training delivery team to optimise training and digital experience to TasNetworks team members, external customers and stakeholders in our industry sector compliant with ASQA, VET and ESI standards.

About you

We are looking for an individual who has strong strategic and agile mindset with the ability to lead a dynamic team to deliver innovative learning solutions.

Having proven experience in the VET sector with ESI and renewables comes highly recommended and extremely beneficial for this position.

You will have solid stakeholder engagement experience with a proven ability to influence and innovate

A deep knowledge of ASQA, Skills Tasmanian, Vet & TAFE Knowledge requirements will be essential to succeed in this role, previous experience leading Vocational Training in a Learning & Development environment is a must.
