We deliver power to Tasmanians. Our vision is to be trusted by our customers to deliver today and create a better tomorrow.
We own, operate and maintain the electricity transmission and distribution network in Tasmania. We deliver a safe, cost-effective and reliable electricity supply to more than 295,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers. We facilitate the transfer of electricity between Victoria and Tasmania via Basslink, the sub-sea electricity interconnector. We also provide telecommunications and technology services.
About the role
As Negotiated Connections Leader you will oversee, provide governance to and report on the delivery of TasNetworks’ customer connections portfolio, the subdivision development connection framework and contestable works framework.
In delivering a portfolio of customer projects, you will ensure effective team leadership and management to oversee the development of a connection solution, cost, and timing and then ensure agreements are in place with the customer. You will also oversee the portfolio of all customer connection jobs with the focus on managing the risk associated with on time delivery, commercial performance and TasNetworks reputation.
You will establish strong working relations with all stakeholders and customers to ensure works are adequately planned, and that completion of the negotiated customer connection portfolio is within agreed budgets and timeframes and delivered in accordance with relevant Acts, procedures and guidelines.
Proactively managing operational, organisational and political risk relating to negotiated connections, along with providing advice to Group Leaders around potential negative business risks are crucial aspects of this role.
