We own, operate and maintain the electricity transmission and distribution network in Tasmania. We deliver a safe, cost-effective and reliable electricity supply to more than 295,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers. We facilitate the transfer of electricity between Victoria and Tasmania via Basslink, the sub-sea electricity interconnector. We also provide telecommunications and technology services.
About the role
As an Electrical Technician, you will actively contribute to the objectives of the team through providing timely, quality and cost-effective services in construction and maintenance on ELV, LV & HV equipment. Key to the role is the installation of LV services from the overhead system to the customer premises and assisting with direct connect metering.
At the forefront of this role is ensuring the customer expectations are met in accordance with the scopes of work and customer standards, whilst ensuring the financial needs of the business and agreed timeframes are met.

About you
A valid Tasmanian Electrical Practitioners Licence must be held, or the ability to obtain, coupled with a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician will set you up for success. An Elevating Work Platform (WP) Licence and Medium Rigid Licence, or the ability to obtain are essential to the role.
