We own, operate and maintain the electricity transmission and distribution network in Tasmania. We deliver a safe, cost-effective and reliable electricity supply to more than 295,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers. We facilitate the transfer of electricity between Victoria and Tasmania via Basslink, the sub-sea electricity interconnector. We also provide telecommunications and technology services.
About the role
Working within our Operations - Works Management team, we currently have an opportunity within Planning, as a Planning Officer.
This collaborative, fast paced team are an essential function to the planning of works, where the Planning Officer is responsible for an array of Administrative tasks, working closely with Program Coordinators to ensure works are delivered within set timeframes and order of priority and providing an overall support function to the team.
The Planning Officer will prepare various documentation, monitor scheduled works and utilise SAP, whilst ensuring business standards and guidelines are being met and applied to all works received.

About you
To be successful as a Planning Officer within the Operations team, you will have a demonstrated ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders, hold advanced PC skills, and strong attention to detail and time management skills.
You are required to hold a current Drivers Licence, and have an ability to use various technology platforms (SAP, IFS, ESRI) with a problem solving mindset that will contribute to the overall success of the team.
