We own, operate and maintain the electricity transmission and distribution network in Tasmania. We deliver a safe, cost-effective and reliable electricity supply to more than 295,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers. We facilitate the transfer of electricity between Victoria and Tasmania via Basslink, the sub-sea electricity interconnector. We also provide telecommunications and technology services.

TasNetworks are seeking an Operations Officer to maintain and enhance our Network Model and operational systems, ensuring real-time efficiency.
In this role, you'll be responsible for updating asset data records in our Geographic Information System (GIS) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems. Join a high performing team to support seamless operations, ensure high-quality data integrity, and respond to asset data inquiries with a customer-oriented mindset.

About you
Leverage your experience with GIS/Spatial systems and CAD software, ideally ESRI ArcGIS UNM or similar, and knowledge of SCADA software is a plus.
Your understanding of transmission/distribution electrical networks, spatial concepts, and network topology will assist in driving our operational efficiency. A track record of collaborating with a diverse range of internal stakeholders - field crews, control systems, and operations teams.
