We own, operate and maintain the electricity transmission and distribution network in Tasmania. We deliver a safe, cost-effective and reliable electricity supply to more than 295,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers. We facilitate the transfer of electricity between Victoria and Tasmania via Basslink, the sub-sea electricity interconnector. We also provide telecommunications and technology services.

About the role

Applications are now open for our 2024-2025 Summer Student Program, with opportunities across the business for those students currently studying Electrical Engineering, IT and Marketing!

This program offers 12 weeks paid experience, working alongside industry experts, where you will gain valuable insight into our business and the Tasmanian Energy Industry.

You will have the opportunity to contribute your ideas and knowledge in a supportive team environment, assisting TasNetworks in powering a bright future for the Tasmanian community.
